With the implementation of laws which take effect January 1, 2006, before you can forcibly return a defendant to custody or contract to perform fugitive recovery you must be trained as a requirement of the new licensing program.
Per WAC 308-19-305, proof of pre-license training and certification in the following is required:
Our service is designed to fulfill this requirement by training and testing to set standards and providing you with a certificate for each module completed. By consulting with the Washington State Department of Licensing we have developed a curriculum that meets the exacting needs of the recovery professional as well as the Bail Bond Agent who would like to obtain the Recovery Agent endorsement. Our course can provide a quick and cost effective means of meeting this requirement.
In addition to classroom presentation this course utilizes a variety of practical “hands-on” exercises. We realize that many Agents will be able to provide proof of previous training in field operations and will need training only in the use of the EMD devices and/or firearms training. Our course structure allows for that possibility and individual modules can be scheduled. Call or e-mail for details.
